3 Days | 2 Nights Sipi Falls Safari

The rate will be for one person in a single room

Sipi Falls are a trio of waterfalls located northeast of Sironko and Mbale in the Kapchorwa area of Eastern Uganda. The waterfalls are located close to the Kenyan border on the outskirts of Mount Elgon National Park. Numerous walks to Mount Elgon begin in the Sipi Falls area.

Leave Kampala in the morning for the start of your 3 days safari to Sipi Falls. Sipi Falls is a 5 hours drive to Eastern Uganda, to Kapchorwa district. You will cross the Nile in Jinja and continue on through a vast landscape of farmland. You will arrive at the falls just in time to go for a guided village village walk and see how the locally grown Arabica coffee is processed.

After breakfast you set off for the highlight of the three ranging waterfalls experience. These are big water-falls and you will get a great view of them as well as get close so you can hear the roar of the water and feel the water splashing on you. After exploring the falls, you will go for a hike up Mount Elgon. The most common route starts in Budadiri and continues via the Sasa trail to the summit, and then descends down the Sipi trail back to the Sipi falls. Hikes around the falls offer breath-taking views across Lake Kyoga, the Karamoja plains and the slopes of Mount Elgon.
